Fort Lauderdale is considered to be the southwestern corner of the Bermuda Triangle. This city's economy relies heavily on tourism. Fort Lauderdale is a popular spring break destination and a major center for nautical recreation.

To cater to the tourist inflow Fort Lauderdale has an excellent spread of hotels in several strategic locations. Several hotels can be found in downtown Fort Lauderdale, the more well known among them include Wilton Manors and Oakland Park.

Those who want to stay near Fort Lauderdale airport can take their pick from any of the hotels that are mushrooming in the area. Several hotels can be reached easily from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Those who prefer staying on the beach will find many hotels on the Intracoastal Waterway and along A1A. Many of the hotels in this area have fantastic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

There are quite a few hotels in the county's northern section known as North Broward. Similarly the center of the county known as West Broward has several hotels too.

The Northwest section of the county encompasses Coconut Creek, Coral Springs, Margate, North Lauderdale, Parkland and Tamarac. A wide selection of hotels to suit all budgets can be located here.

Tourists also have options of staying in hotels located on the Hollywood beach, the Palm Beaches Metro and the Miami Metro.
